Svending 9 months over due. I’ll clean again next week. The bugs and grime is so bad it’s gonna take multiple cleanings. It earned it after how hard it ran at autocross today.

Before a few weeks ago, I genuinely would have said that there was no such thing as a non-convertible Solara, now I see them everywhere.

Wait, you autox your Solara? What the hell, that’s probably the greatest thing I’ve heard all day lol

As of today, yes. First time ever with this car. Only second time I’ve ever autocrossed. It’s was epic. Will post pics later. Surprisingly not the only Camry there. The Toyota “One Lap of America” Camry was there as well. They ran a higher class though.

Do you have the Koni shocks? I know Koni does or did make them for the 5th gen Camry :o)
I thought you might be interested :o)

Cool thanks :). first thing is to run better tires and eventually some high temp brake fluid, and better lines, and brake pads that will transfer heat away more quickly.

True, yeah I agree with all that, but it’s fucking awesome that Koni actually made shocks for the supposedly boring Camry!
A good hi-temp brake fluid that isn’t too expensive is Bosch ESI6, Ravenol 5.1, or Wagner SevereDuty. About $15 each per quart
EBC
pads might work well for your intended usage. The Blackstuff is a daily driver pad, while the red and yellowstuff are more racey. I’m not sure which would be right
for you given the autox conditions
What tire size does your Solara use?

215/55R17 is factory size.

Cool! You might want to consider the Vr edestein Ultrac Satin for a good performance summer tire. You can get it here
